We stayed at Oportowaves for a family vacation and it was fantastic. Jorge welcomed us and even asked how we wanted the beds arranged. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. The property is quiet and the air conditioning kept us cool in the hot weather. It's perfect for families with the separate bedroom and living room. We loved being close to the beach, restaurants, and the tram to Porto. The apartment was well equipped and everything was clean. Jorge was a great host!

I had an amazing stay at Oportowaves in Matosinhos! The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beach and a street lined with delicious restaurants. We even got to witness the pilgrims walking by on the Camino Portugues. The apartment itself was well equipped, clean, and had comfortable beds. Jorge, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

The construction occurring next door. Although we were informed about it in advance and it only took place during daytime hours, it was still a bit disruptive.

The nearby Lidl supermarket made it convenient for us to stock up on any necessities we needed.

One minor downside was the slight disturbance caused by the thin walls, which allowed for some sound transfer between neighboring guests. However, it did not significantly affect our overall experience.
